Legend says that it is the same place where God Indra’s chariot picked up Yudhishthira , eldest of Pandavas brothers and thus makes this place holy for Hindu devotees. Dhankar lake

Vajreshvari Temple – The Shree Vajrashwari temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess Vajreshwari, located in the town Nagarkot in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. A legend says that after Goddess Sati sacrificed herself In the honor of Lord Siva In her father’s Yagna ,Shiva took her body in his shoulders and started Tandav .In order to stop him from destroying the world Lord Vishnu divided the body of Sati into 51 parts with Chakra. The left breast of Sati fell at this spot thus making it a Shakti Peeth.
Chamunda Devi temple – The Chamunda devi temple in H.p is located 10 km west of Palampur in the Kangra area of state .It stands on the banks of famous Ban Gang river, the temple has sacred idol of Chamunda Devi wrapped by a red cloth.
Naina Devi Temple– Shri Naina Devi temple is one of the most notable places of worship in Himachal Pradesh located is Bilaspur District.It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths where limbs of Sati fell on earth.

Dham – Dham is a traditional food of Himachal.It is prepared by the Brahmins of the region .It is prepared by cooking red kidney beans (Rajma) green lentils (mung dal ) and rice in curd.It is loved and relished by all.
Mittha – Mittha is the popular sweet dish of Himachal.It is tasty dish which is made by mixing sweetened rice with dry fruits and raisins.
Momos – Momos are well known Pahadi dish which is loved by all.They are easy to make, good for health and tastes delicious.
