Shimla is among the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh. Snow capped peaks, tall Deodar trees, walk on a Mall road and what more a person can ask for. When I was in Shimla this year I was amazed to see how people were desperate about their visit to Kufri, just to feel the chills of snow in their spine.
Just Imagine yourself during the month of May – June stuck somewhere in central India where the average temperature ranges from 35-45 degree celcious and at same time here in Shimla you can feel the coldness of Snow at Kufri. Such is the beauty of this place.
Basically I write articles on those questions which people often ask me on my mail but this time I received this question on Quora, Where somebody asked me to tell the best time to visit Shimla if you are a snow lover or you are looking for snowfall.
Shimla during the New year is just everybody’s dream destination. Walk around the Mall road, Dance with the crowd from different states with Bonfire is something which can make your heart pound widely.
Predicting snowfall is just like predicting the future but still I will try to give you the best time if you are a snow lover. Its been a month of September when I am writing this blog and believe me guys I am in Solan and its really cold out here. According to my assumption if you ask me I can say that this year snowfall can occur in the month of December for sure.
Best time to visit Shimla for snowfall lovers
And the best time would be the New year. During 2016 heavy snowfall was observed in Shimla and same goes for the year 2017.
The only disadvantage of visiting Shimla at this time would be that the place would be overcrowded and the price of the hotels would be sky rocketing.
So if you want to enjoy snow in a budget trip than January 15 to February 15 would be the best time to visit.
