Triund (Dharamshala)

Triund is a peaceful and unexplored place which is situated in the lap of Dhauladhar and on top of Dharmshala, which is accessible for almost whole of the year except during winters when snow cuts the way off. The panorama of the place is exhilarating and the view of Kangra valley from the top is awe-inspiring. The trek or the journey to Triund is not a big challenge. Kasol (Parvati Valley)

It is a beautiful as well as peaceful place located at a distance of 32kms from Bhuntar (nearest airport) in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. This village lies adjacent to gurgling Parvati river. You can sit along the river and enjoy the tranquillity and peace offered by nature. The specialty of the place lies in the trekking routes to various unexplored places like Malana, Chalaal, Kheerganga etc. Kasol is abode for the trekkers, backpackers and for those who cannot control their adrenaline rush. Chandratal lake (Spiti valley)

Chandratal is a beautiful lake situated in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. This lake is less explored destination as compared to other places like Shimla, Manali which are major tourist destinations. Chandratal lake is located at an altitude of 4250mtrs or 14000ft  and lies at a distance of 140 kms from Manali. This lake is also called by the name moon lake which is an English translation of the name Chandratal. Kheerganga (Parvati valley)

Kheerganga is situated at an altitude of 2960m approximately. 12km trek to Kheerganga falls under the easy category of difficulty level, half of which is normal walk till Rudranaag and another half is a mild climb, covered with pine trees which opens to the meadows of Kheerganga. It is believed that in Satyug with Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati’s grace kheer emerged out of ground and flowed into the valley, that’s why it’s called Kheerganga and with Parshuram’s help it was turned into water because they knew that people of kalyug might fight for this. It takes around 40-45 minutes to reach Varshani from where the trek to Kheerganga starts. So if you are planning a long weekend in the Parvati valley then you can definitely visit this beautiful and unexplored place. The beauty of this place lies in lying in hot water spring after a trek of 5-6 hours in the lap of Himalayas. Kasauli (Shimla)

Kasauli is a beautiful and most unexplored place located in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. This area is an army cantonment area and was established by the British Raj in 1842 as colonial hill station. Kasauli lies at a distance of 77kms from Shimla and at a distance of 65kms from Chandigarh. This place is located at an altitude of 1900 meters from sea level adding some picturesque beauty to the place. So if you are planning a trip to Shimla then you can definitely make a pit stop at Kasauli. Here you can visit Baptist Church, Christ church, Manki point, Nahri temple, Kasauli club.   3. Himachal pradesh is very well-known for honeymoon places like Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie etc. But I must say you have such an amazing places that no one can afford to ignore these places. Thank you for sharing information of these places. I will surely visit these places whenever i will on the trip to Himachal pradesh next time.
